Very helpful. It would be great to highlight in bold or in different color, the ones that the market is most anticipating or the ones that if it missed estimate might have an impact on the market :) Thanks Again for the amazing work.
Morning Adib and thanks for your comments and support for TMH. At TMH we do try and highlight what we feel are the important data points of the day and do already strip out a lot of data which we believe and hope will not have a material effect on the markets on any given day. It’s also hard to highlight data releases that will have an impact on the market when we realise that people reading TMH will have very different risk profiles in terms of both timeline and the volatility that they are willing to trade hence highlighting a data point for one investor type will be of little regard to other readers.
In addition we do try and highlight what we see as the main points of focus for the day in the text. We try to put a view around the major set pieces with possible outcomes and the potential implications for the markets like say for the FOMC, NFP, ECB, etc
Finally we are also aware that over the last few years short term moves on data points are more than likely created and traded by the algos and lots of such moves, especially in FX, post data are best faded. Hope this makes sense but your comments have been noted and this may be something we incorporate into TMH at some point in the future. Good luck TMH
