Today’s focus ……Risk off to start the new quarter, Atlanta recession warning, the vultures continue to pick over the bones in crypto and the ECB dual speed road to Mark/Lira?
As for making money, our app (Harkster.com) has had some institutional interest which we are exploring, plus we've had some demand for a premium newsletter here on Substack.
Would you be interested in additional content from us?
That would depend on additional content and cost. One problem is what you are writing now adds value relative to say Bloomberg market reports and what do you put in a Premium offering? Perhaps there comes a point where your readership is big enough to put a paywall in for everyone. I was an investment banker in London for 35 years now I manage my money - there is a huge amount of free stuff out there both top down and at the company level. I was 'introduced ' to you by Macro Alf for example (I get the YouTube model which is why I ask you about yours). I wish you luck.
For a premium offering we would need to explore the appetite of our readers further but would probably consider doing several deep dives each month into timely macro topics with the same style of writing as the daily piece.
Putting a paywall on the daily piece is of course an option but we would like to maintain some element of free tier going forward.
Thanks again for your continued support. I may come back to you if we land on something to get your opinion.
I really appreciate The Morning Hark - significantly more inciteful than an average market report.
My question is How do you make money? It's a lot of effort.
Thanks for the feedback Robert, much appreciated!
