• Chinese Caixin Manufacturing PMI was better than expected... 51.4 vs cons 51 (prior 51.1).   

  • Bloomberg - China Factory Activity Holds Up, Signaling Recovery Has Legs

• Did or didn't they intervene...? Japanese authorities are still leaving the mkt guessing 

  • Reuters - Japan's top FX diplomat says ready to deal with yen around the clock

  • Reuters - Sign of intervention? Japan's yen jumps against dollar

• Markets overnight.... Nikkei 38250,  CSI 3610, Crude $82.40, Brent $86.95, Gold $2325, XBT 63.4k, EUR 1.0700, JPY 156.75, GBP 1.2540, AUD 0.6525, CNH 7.2530, 10s at 4.61%.

• The European session will be focused on French, German and Eurozone Q1 Flash GDP and Inflation prints, whilst ahead of Wed's Fed, the mkt gets the latest ECI labour cost print mixed into the month end rebalancing flows.
