What’s Moved Overnight
Overnight data - Singapore headline inflation 4.1% as exp, core dropped to 3% (exp 3.1%) from a prior 3.4%, to hit its lowest reading since March 2022.
FX... a quiet start to the week with DXY stuck around 106.00... USDJPY peaked above 150.00 but is already back below on the London open (149.95), EURUSD remains just under 1.06 and unchanged now since JPow spoke at the NY Economic Club, AUD and NZD remain weak at 0.6310 and 0.5825 respectively.
Nikkei newspaper reported the BoJ discussing a further tweak to its yield curve policy ... (nikkei.com)
China weakness the focus of weekend reports from Bloomberg ...
Bitcoin +3% and north of 30.8k ... is an ETF coming within weeks/months?
Finally, Israel's military continued to bomb Gaza and clashed with Hezbollah on the border with Lebanon... as of yet, the grand incursion is delayed
