What’s Moved Overnight
Quiet start to potentially a very quiet week for currencies and bonds as the week ahead data calendar is light on top-tier event risk.
Nikkei 39025, CSI 3688, Crude $80, Brent $84, Gold $2438, XBT 67k, EUR 1.0880, GBP 1.2705, AUD 0.6705, JPY 155.75, CNH 7.2370, 10s at 4.41%.
Commodities did see some notable moves. Copper and gold broke higher to ATH whilst silver broke the pivotal $30. Finally Oil hasn’t reacted to the news that the helicopter carrying the Iranian President is missing following a crash.
China left its Loan Prime rates for both 1Y and 5Y unchanged at 3.45% and 3.95% respectfully.
