The USD (EUR 1.0715, JPY 150.50, GBP 1.2605, AUD 0.6470) has maintained its post CPI strength as US10s stay elevated at 4.30% and gold remains at a 2month low around $2000.
The Asian equity markets that were open broadly followed Wall Streets decline (Nikkei -70bps to 37705)
Japan's MOF's Kanda said they are ready to take action on FX as sharp falls in the yen are not good for the economy. Suzuki also warned that authorities are closely monitoring the market
