What’s Moved Overnight

• XBT (approx 46,000) - ETF is not done, 48,000 paid, off 45,000 given and now the market waits for the real announcement. Last night's vol induced by SEC X account being hacked. 

  • Bloomberg - Bitcoin Swings After Debunked Post Claimed ETFs Won SEC Approval

  • Reuters - SEC probing fake post on its X account, bitcoin ETFs not yet approved

• Data - AUD monthly CPI indicator dropped to 4.3% (exp 4.4% and prior 4.9%) but still remains well above their 2-3% target range. 

• FX - EUR glued to 1.0950, JPY bouncing around 145.00… more of the same for G10 as the ranges condense and we wait for Williams and/or US CPI

• CNH/JPY stock divergence continues as CSI300 (3280) hit a five year low whilst Nikkei (34480) made a fresh 3 decade high for the second day running, closing up 2.15% (Reuters - Morning Bid Europe)
